He worked with Eli Lilly & Company in senior management roles throughout Europe and North America before moving back to the United Kingdom and working in the biotech sector. His focus for the past ten years has been in allergy working with Allergy Therapeutics and Stallergenes before leaving to set up Captium.

Mr Koivurinta is an entrepreneur with 25 years of experience within industrial and property development companies as well as technology and internet start-ups. He is an active investor, merger and acquisition advisor and Board member. Previously he has been operational head of various large industrial and asset management companies.
